The Morrow Family is an all acoustic bluegrass gospel band representing three generations. From a small country living room, the Morrow Family made their first recording on a "Reel to Reel". Over the past 25 years they have continued singing and performing. But first, let us take you back through this continuing journey..The idea of the band began as Denni's dream to see his children and grandchildren making music. The band then became reality when Dennis and Ruth Morrow, along with their 2 young daughters, Shelley and Heather, started practicing in their small rural home and performing in local churches and care homes. Abe and Erna Duck joined the band in 1978, giving us another guitar player and alto singer. In January 200 they lost the founder of the group Dennis Morrow, to Leukemia. I'm sure he's dancing with the angles in heaven knowing that they are continuing his dream by singing and bringing in a new generation of Musicians.
The band consists of Ruth, Shelley, Riley, Heather, Rob, Abe and Erna. Their beautiful harmonies echo the sounds of the 5 string banjo, Guitar, Fiddle, Mandolin and Stand up bass. THeir love for music and sharing the gospel takes them to local churches and Bluegrass and Gospel Festivals. Watch for their upcoming "Tribute" CD entitled, "Touch of the Masters Hand"
